This link has no join code, so there's nothing to join yet. The code is the part after the #. Scan the host's code, or ask the host to send you the link.
Join the mix
Be on the same Wi-Fi as the host.
1. Get the app
Install the phone remote to join the mix.
Checking the current release…
On iPhone or iPad, install TestFlight first. Use the Apple ID on your device.
Open Mix-a-Mash. The first screen asks "How will you use Mix-a-Mash?". Tap Join a mix. You don't need an account to join.
If you copied your join link above, the app offers it. Tap Use copied link (on iPhone, tap Paste join link and allow the paste). Otherwise paste the link into the box under "Or paste the join link" and tap Join. There's no camera scanner in it yet, so use the copied link. If the app can't find the host, the screen also offers "Type the host's address".
Be on the same Wi-Fi as the host before you tap Join. Your phone connects to the host's computer over the local network, so it can't find the host on mobile data.
What joining gets you
Request songs. Ask for a song, and it goes into the host's queue for the mix.
Watch the mix live. See what's playing and what's coming.
No account, no sign-up. Joining a mix needs neither. Your phone gets a random ID so the host can tell guests apart.
Anyone who joins gets the same controls as the host, not only requests. The host's guest settings don't limit that yet.
About that code
The part of the link after the # holds the join secret and the host's ID. It stays in your browser, and this page doesn't send it anywhere. See the privacy policy for what the app sends.
